HISTORICAL NOTE
The Udden Geology Club began in 1933 and is named in memory of Dr. J.A. Udden, an Augustana graduate of 1911 and later professor of biology and geology. The club sponsors geology-related lectures, projects, and activities as well as a field trip at the end of each term. Some past trips include Devils Lake in Wisconsin, Ozark Mountains in Missouri, iron and copper districts of Lake Superior, and lead and zinc districts of Oklahoma.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

The Udden Geology Club collection is very small and consists of only one item: a notebook with lists of different club events and the members who attended each of them from April 22, 1988 to May 15, 1992.
