The Chi Omega Gamma Sorority began in 1925 with seven girls and two pledges. Nicknamed the “COGs”, the sorority’s purpose was to promote “Augie spirit.” The COGs had to maintain high standards of character, conduct, social spirit, and scholarship. The COGs actively participated in Augustana Homecoming celebrations and held annual formals and tea parties. |
