The Idune Honorary Society was founded March 16, 1933, to “foster and encourage scholarship among Augustana Women.”  The society appears to have been short-lived as there is little mention of them in the Rockety-I save for the initial announcement of their founding in the 1932-1933 school year.

The Idune Honorary Society notebook is dated 1933 and measures .1 linear inches.  It contains the handwritten constitution, as well as handwritten meeting minutes from four meetings in March and April 1933.  The composition notebook also has notes about Paradise Lost over the first several pages of the notebook, perhaps belonging to Bernice Sward, whose name is crossed out on the cover with the same pen used to write Idune Honorary Society, and who signed the minutes as secretary.

The materials are bound in the notebook and are in chronological order.
