Eckman, John August 1868-1945

Description: Concerts and Entertainment's: clippings and miscellaneous, 1899-1933. J.L. Eckman was organist and Choir director for the First Lutheran Church in Jamestown, N.Y. He directed several singing groups in the Chautauqua Lake region for many years.

Ericson, Oscar  George

Description: Ericson was a typographer and production manager at the Augustana Book Concern in Rock Island, Illinois 1924-1958.  He was also involved with the the Swedish temperance movement in Sweden.  He founded the International Good Templars in both Sweden and the U.S.  The material includes a biography, correspondence, printed matters and clippings.

Esbjörn, Lars Paul 1808-1870

Description:  "Anteckningsbok" (bound ledger): notes on inside front flyleaf in Esbjörn's hand (in Swedish) indicate that this book was used from the time of his youth in the 1800's to record what he had read or thought about as being noteworthy in the realms of mathematics and social sciences. An index (arranged according to the Swedish alphabet) is at head of volume with page references to subject matter. Notebook includes text and diagrams; 404 p. and [18] leaves total.
