Civil War Diaries

Images and transcriptions from the diaries kept by two Illinois soldiers, Gould D. Molineaux and Basil Messler, during the the Civil War.  Both served in the Union Army in the Vicksburg, Missouri area, and Molineaux was active in the siege of Vicksburg.

Upper Mississippi Valley Digital Image Archive (UMVDIA)

A digital repository of which Augustana was a founding member, the UMVDIA is collection of historic images showcasing the Mississippi River region along the Iowa/Illinois border.
